MISSYFIT – Have You Ever Seen The Rain
JUST RELEASED! (16 June 2020)
Mia Gentile and I (dba MISSYFIT) just dropped a Creedence Clearwater Revival cover “Have You Ever Seen The Rain” in a girl-group Wall of Sound style with an accompanying video on YouTube last week. A juxtaposition of the events going today (which very much mirror the 1960s!) coupled with a nostalgia for an earlier time that probably never existed. (I suffer from this, and just found out there is a name for it in Portuguese: saudade.)
We are overwhelmed by the initial positive response! Over 1,000 views so far – pulling for a couple more zeroes to add to that number! When the first video you make together gets 2 million views it sort of raises the bar for future expectations…
